The celebrities of Columbia are at it again as they compete for the winning title in Stadium Grill’s second annual Great American Burger Challenge. In the contest, that started September 9 and runs through October 20, each celebrity creates the burger of their dreams to be taste-tested and voted on by fans.
The winner of the contest will have their great burger creation featured on the Stadium Grill’s menu for one whole year, and 50 cents of the proceeds from each sale of that burger will go to the winning celebrity’s favorite non-profit organization.
During each week of the Burger Challenge, a different competitor has a shot to prove their burger-mastery and reign supreme as “The Great American Burger Challenge” champion. Each challenger will have their burger recipe featured on the menu for 7 days for local fans to sample and judge. 50 cents from each of the sales of celebrity burgers will go to their chosen non-profits.
This year, six local celebrities are participating in Stadium Grill’s Burger Challenge, benefiting 8 different charities in just over a month.
The Columbia celebrities turned chefs have created burgers of all types, ranging from one called The Bell Ringer with sweet and spicy flavors, to another called Eye of the Tiger, a take on a BBQ tailgate taste.
