Met a friend from out of town, and this was the first place that popped into my mind as being on that side of town. We wanted to stop in for appetizers and a few drinks. The decor for a sports bar was fun and lively. The drinks were good as we ordered martini's and the spinach and artichoke dip, which was very good! Great place to stop in before the game and have an appetizer and drinks, easy to get in and out of.

Good food. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Expensive drinks.

best burgers in town

Thoroughly unimpressed.
I suspect they've got the mentality that they're in a high-traffic area and thus they have more leeway to be mediocre and still make it as a business.
The place looked nice and it was clean, but the food was over-priced and just. well, cheap. I had the chicken sandwich ($8.50) but it was dry and the bun it came on looked as if it was from a $1 pack of buns from wal-mart. It was small and fell apart and I ended up eating the chicken with my fork. I also had the spinach and artichoke dip and you could tell it came from a tub in the freezer - this stuff is not made on site.
Would I go back? Only to have a beer at the bar - and only if I'd attended a game. Never for the food.

This place is going to do so well. I came in here with my family the other day and really didn't know what to expect. They picked the place and I just came along. But the minute i walked into the restaurant I was tickled by the decor and the atmosphere. Everything celebrated Mizzou, including the wall paper! There were quite a lot of people in there but everyone that was working seemed to have it under control and were very friendly. I ordered a burger and absolutely loved it. The possibilities of burgers are new and exciting. The portions were huge and the bun was a sweet bun making the flavor very enjoyable. The rest of my family got food just as great including a pasta dish, wings and a massive salad. everything was delicious and my waitress was extremely sweet. I can't wait to go back!

I had such high hopes for the Stadium Grill; I really did. The decor is what you'd expect from an establishment that caters to sports fans, and it's actually really nice. Plenty of big TVs, comfortable, clean, friendly staff.

The food, however, is a different story. To put it simply, it's bland and over-priced. I will say that the cup of chili I ate was good, but not worth $5. For my main course, I opted for a burger since the place is home to the supposedly famous "Burgernator." Well, they can keep the "Burgernator." My burger came out dry and tasteless. Definitely not what I expected from a restaurant burger.

Finally, there's the cost. My girlfriend and I had a burger, a chicken sandwich, a cup of chili, and two sodas between the two of us, and it wound up costing us close to $30. It wouldn't be so bad if the food was actually good. I suspect that the prices are high so they can take advantage of the weary guests of the hotel to which they are adjoined. Regardless, you don't get the quality you would expect from the prices.

My advice would be to stay away unless you're just going for a drink and appetizer or to watch a game.

First impression...Open...inviting...TV's...

Clean

Decor ...one of the best MU themed places to date

Service oriented staff

Spinach Artichoke Dip...very nice...THICK (better then Applebee's)

Fried Green Bean w/dipping sauce...unique breading..tasty...complimentary taste on the 2 dips

Need to post menu on line!!! Good job on the theme.

Look forward to testing more. I will go again and bring out of town friends.

The Yankee Pot Roast is GREAT!!! Meat is tender, vegetables crisp and flavorful. Great one-plate meal that only lacked a piece of hearty bread to sop up the gravy.
Mini-burger appetizer is a TASTELESS JOKE! Mini buns are oversized, fillings are small, dry and tasteless. If they are intended to be samples of the big burgers, I'm sticking with the pot roast.

Three friends had lunch at Stadium Grill last week and I will not go back. Considering the fact that burgers are their specialty, no effort was made to make it special. The bun was cold and not toasted. The meat had no flavor at all.
One of us ordered a dessert (there are only 2). The brownie with caramel and chocolate came and the waiter said they had no caramel, after she had said to give more caramel than chocolate. Had she known there was no caramel she wouldn't have ordered it. She politely complained about this but no effort was made to remedy the situation or adjust the bill. I predict this place won't last a year-what a disappointment.

I've been here a few times now for lunch. This place has the best burgers in town. Over 20 different flavors of burgers that come in 3 different sizes. Happy hour starts a 2:00pm also with 2 for 1 appetizers. (which is good because they are a little overpriced) So far everything I have ordered has tasted great and the service has been first rate.
If there is one downside, there are not many vegitarian options. It would be great if they could add the option of a vegitarian burger patty so everyone could enjoy the great flavors they offer.

Great atmosphere (we went for an early lunch so it was pretty quiet!), love the MU decor, very nice and efficient wait staff, and GREAT food! I had the best turkey and swiss melt, it was huge, especially for the price. My husband had a burger and we liked how the menu featured different burgers in different sizes as well as the option to get chicken! We'll definitely be back!

I'm going to write this down as efficiently as i can.
Likes:
* large selection of menu items
* large selection of micro brews
* the chicken is NOT over cooked and dry! i would recommend getting a chicken breast instead of the burger. they will do it for any burger.
* large mugs of beer!
* the food came out fast!

dislikes:
* A large mug of of guinness is waaaay too much
* half the wing sauces seem to be from buffalo wild wings (garlic parmesan? ) and taste generic. (good but generic)
* decor is empty and bare feeling
* $10 for a burger with fries
* our appetizer tasted pre made. (the spinach dip)

In summation... i'll be back to eat there for the MU homecoming game to give them a 2nd chance. hopefully they will climb up the scale by then from average to amazing

WOW, what a HUGE variety of appetizers and entrees! The food was awesome and the service great, as well. This place is going to be a wonderful spot to eat on Football Saturdays!

Try the onion rings they are HUGE and delicious! They are the biggest o-rings in town! They have several apps, salads, soups, WINGS with many flavors, all kinds of sandwiches, dinner entrees, Pepsi products, and many more.
They just openned, so give them a try and write a review of your experience(hope it was good)?!
