Went for a quick lunch today and I'll start by saying the food was good. Not great, but good enough that I would recommend them if someone was nearby. I find it extremely unlikely that I will go back. The music was really bad. Bad enough that it made my head hurt. I think they buy their music off the Peace Nook clearance rack. Every song was bad. B Sides and fa-la-las and etc. Yikes!!!

I went out with several of my friends. It was a slow evening but they wouldn't seat my friend until more of our group showed up. It wasn't even busy. My food was okay. I had mojito fries but all the oil soaked into the bread of my sandwich. The fries should be in a separate little dish.

Service was okay. Waitress did not offer dessert menu which is why we really came. Waited for a table on a WEDNESDAY! Food needed salt, steak underdone (rare when medium was asked for).

Food, service, atmosphere is always good. Bartenders are exceptional. Beer is always cold. My favorite place in town. Owners do a good job of getting around and greeting people, checking on things.

I've always had excellent food. This is one of those places you really should try to visit at least once. I'm not very fond of the usual crowd there, seems too upscale for me. Also, the prices seem a little steep for a Bar & Grill type of place. Try the sweet potato chips.

I feel like there is absolutely nothing wrong with Addison's. Everytime I go in there, I think to myself, this is exactly what a contemporary restaurant should feel like. The dishes are inventive and flavorful, and I have yet to encounter anything less than amazing service from any of the staff. The entire restaurant is clean. As for the beer issue mentioned by a previous commenter: Addison has an excellent selection of beer! They serve several microbrews, as well as the big name domestics. It's my favorite place to go because of their diverse selection (and the late night happy hour.)

ALWAYS DELICIOUS!!!
the wait is usually very long on Friday and Saturday nights.

I ate the pulled pork sandwich that was dry and not very tasty. The beer selection was poor they didnt have Budweiser. I believe I got food poisoning because I threw up three times that night. This is unusual for me because I almost never get sick. I called them the next morning to alert them of a possible problem with their meat. I told them I got sick and they said thats nice thank you I will never eat there again.

Food is usually decent, although sometimes the menu seems like they're trying to hard to be 'different'. Ambience is nice but very noisy. Service is very iffy. Bar crowd pretentious. Decent beer selection.

Great atmosphere. The food is good, but the selection is limited. Will go back many times. We take our daughter there and she loves the mac and cheese off the kid's menu. We were there on Thursday the 10th of April and the portion sizes appeared smaller than normal. Hopefully they aren't cutting back.

As a response to the numerous posts about the bad service: I have never had rude service at Addison's. I have been there over 50 times in my lifetime. As a college student from Columbia and a server I love to go to locally owner restaurants that are friendly towards the college age. Also as a server I feel I can usually tell when a server is just bad on accident or purpose, and I can honestly say that a server at Addisons has never purposfully treated be badly. I reccomend Addison's to anyone and everyone. The prices are cheap for the portions, the late night drink specials are amazing (2.50 for Guinnes draws!) and the staff and atmosphere are worth returning.

The food is wonderful while the majority of the staff seems as though you are bothing them when you ask them to serve you. I hate to admit that I continue to go back everytime only for the food.

I love Addisons. I have never had a complaint nor bad service. Great food and fun atmosphere. Great place to be later in the night as well

Addison's seems to be marketed more toward the higher class in Columbia. The prices are not that bad as long as you watch what you order. The food though was pretty good and if not for the atmosphere I would probably go back. As the workers were quite unfriendly and a little stuck up.

Excellent drink and appetizer specials late at night. Always clean and has nice, comfortable decor. However, the wait staff is always very unfriendly and seem like we are annoying them when we order anything. Sorry I came to a RESTAURANT to have FOOD AND DRINKS. Hateful wait staff ruins the experience.

Wonderful food! Their shrimp is the best I've ever had-- it's not rubbery, tough, or fishy,-- it's plump and juicy. I've been to a lot of places and the shrimp is usually a little tough. The price is right for what you get $8 - $15 for the entrees. The place is clean, I like the bar, the atmosphere is good. Overall, a consistent favorite.

The Thai Chicken Salad is definitely the best salad in town!

I like to frequent locally owned restaurants, and Addison's is one of the best. It is great for lunch, and they have a really good late night happy hour. I reccomend the Nachos Bianco. I think the owners also operate another restaurant called Sophia's. Have not been there yet, but heard is was great as well.

Addison's has great food at fair prices. Try the Diablo Shrimp Pasta! Fun atmosphere too.
